@yassie_j that's a you issue sadly /nm there's still plenty under 2 hours that came out this year, methinks the creative field just knows that there a lot of added depth you can get from adding 10-30 minutes onto a movie there's far far more I can add to this but I need to get ready for work
@yassie_j that's because i haven't seen your political posts but you're parroting disneyslop propaganda that calls for taking away artistic control from creatives :(
@yassie_j this take is crazy Movies should be as long as the director thinks it should be. Especially if the genre calls for a longer run time, which a Detective film absolutely does.
I don't think a film that's inspired by classic mystery novels can achieve everything it wants to from a narrative standpoint in less than 2 hours, same goes for a bunch of other movies (Avatar, OBAA)
We live in a world where studios actively call for shorter run times for better box office profits, Fantastic Four comes to mind which suffers from having 15-20 minutes missing from it. I think having people like Rian Johnson, Matt Reeves and Paul Tomas Anderson fighting to make the films the length they want it to be is undeniably a good thing.
@niconeko respectfully disagree!@!!!! Having a timeline of growing mechanics with recent songs allows people to scale over time like, imagine having a level 23 expert telling you "USE 3 FINGERS NOW!!! HERE'S SOME CHART FLAIR THAT YOU SHOULDN'T TOUCH" i'd have a panic attack personally
@link in the sense of how prominent queer shipping is with the books. The whole post comes across to me being about how queer people try to see themselves in what they read, even if it makes no sense
just people being annoying and hating fun, mostly.
@GabbiXARC I feel you're thinking too much, that you doubt people won't accept you as you are. You aren't letting people down.
in my eyes, voice training is a game of persistence, you gotta just sit with how grating it can be. I tried to learn how to sing, it's not the same but I absolutely see where you're coming from.
@GabbiXARC personally i really don't mind it!! but it's always best to go the route to get the results you feel the most comfortable with. This is about how you want to be presented first and foremost.
From what I know, voice training is really difficult and hard not to cringe at but if you want to sound different, you gotta power through it and I'm sure you'll get results that you're happy with.
