@fiore i mean im switching to a new drive anyway so i thought of using it as an excuse to hop but i might try cachy so i don't need to change things up too much
@eris@fiore i'm using a single gpu (Radeon RX 6950 XT), i've reinstalled steam once or twice and it only happens on this computer and this issue has been happening for over a year
@fiore i think my install might be fucked but steam and things that interact with steam (but not the games directly) crash constantly and it pisses me off i can't find anyone else who has the same issues i really don't wanna leave arch though
i genuinely don't know what to do about this my closest friend lives 30 mins by car and once it's swapped out i know i will just want to spend the rest of the day reinstalling everything and i'd feel bad asking them to just leave
i wonder how the steam frame is gonna work out because on linux with steamvr link i run into weird issues all the time like the steamvr 2 dashboard reverting to the steamvr 1 dashboard or randomly getting dropped into the steamvr void even though the game is still running
