@zvava i hope not.
it could be that they've decided they don't want to do a simultaneous launch and are waiting for the machine queue to clear up a bit
it could be that they're waiting for steamos 3.9 which should have better frame support from what i've heard
it could be that they don't have all of the regulatory approval they need, we did see new fcc filings only a month ago

i'm really curious about what's going on with the usage graph for the frame wireless adapter driver although it's hard to actually figure out anything useful from it

@pancakes i hope someone at valve realizes the best thing to do is to make a blog post w/ a bar graph of how many people are on the queue next to how many units they have available to ship

at this point i hope to god they are working on a color camera 😭

@zvava i appreciate that valve considers hardware modders for their devices and makes it possible
then they talk about what can be done and the examples are things that are really fucking cool but they just dont make/sell it themselves (machine eink monitor, frame color camera)
