python project management is so confusing from the outside
i mean i'm fine with the classic venv and requirements.txt
but these days there's a standard pyproject.toml and so many different tools that all interact with it the same way like hatch, uv, poetry
what is the thing that people actually use/recommend?

probably not uv considering astral is permissive towards ai contribution.... part of openai???

@pancakes I always only used uv originally because it was faster but then I started using pyproject.toml because it makes management of dependencies easier

@lunya pyproject is a proper spec now so it doesn't matter if you're using uv in that regard
