doctor who posting
seems like the rumors are true that amc+ is the new home for modern doctor who on streaming. i wasn't really sure about it cause it seemed like amc+ was sort of a random choice. for me i care less about that than the rumor that amc+ will also be the home of brand new doctor who episodes following the disney+ collapse. seeing how sony owns amc and bad wolf studios if bad wolf is still producing doctor who i can see why a deal with them would make sense. i'm sure some people would like the bbc to stay wholly independent but for the budget doctor who currently requires it is not entirely realistic anymore. plus disney had almost no direct involvement in production anyway. they just set really strict deadlines that rtd struggled to keep up with. if amc doesn't have that much power and is just throwing some extra cash the show's way in exchange for exclusive streaming rights that doesn't seem all too bad. now if only we could get ncuti's and 60th specials also on amc+ so everything could be together. those episodes are probably never leaving disney+ unless the license expires but idk what the contracts really look like in regards to all that
