if kdenlive manages to integrate natron seamlessly OR gets node based compositing on it's own (though i'd argue natron is more battle-tested) then resolve ought to start sweating a little
like the only reason i'm on a hackintosh rn is because linux opencl drivers for amd gfx8 are a shitshow and the only use case i have for said drivers is resolve
@pancakes rusticl is work in progress in general and the fact that it kidna almost works is a surprise, rocm is Official Amd Software but the latest version that supports this generation is 5.7.1 which has bit-rotted away alongside the progress of software who don't give a shit about backwards compatibility
