You honestly gotta thank Toby for making Kris non-binary. Not just because it's really fucking cool to have one of the biggest indie games ever make the protagonist fully unambiguously non-binary, but also because it's so easy to tell if someone's theory is dogshit now.
If someone misgenders Kris, their theory is bad. I know this because it means they don't have the media literacy or basic understanding of character writing to comprehend when a character is non-binary, and thus I can ignore their opinions on the game because mine are better by virtue of knowing how to read a character.
This genuinely has happened a couple times where I've turned a video on, heard "he" for Kris, and gone "Oh ok your opinion is worthless garbage"
