so far my impression of trains in adelaide have been pretty good. everything i've taken has been on time. the only weird thing is you tap on in the carriage instead of at the station platform
my impression of the buses has been quite poor though. on my second day i tried following my partner ash on to a bus from the side door (center left) and the driver closed it in my face. i quickly ran to the front door (front left) and the moment i tapped on he accelerated as fast as possible and i almost fell over. i didnt see at the time that there was a no entry sign on the side door, in brisbane boarding there is pretty normal and was required during lockdown. yesterday we went to the suburb ash lived in and on the way back we spent 30 mins running between stops because one was closed and another had the bus completely disappear
