Lapce seems like a promising project, but they still have a long way to go. The vim mode is very bad, like I was turned off immediately by it, but it at least has one. Hopeful abt it, especially if it stays away from LLM slop machines like Zed hasn't.

@kett at least with zed you can turn all of it off with a single toggle but it does worry me about the code quality
zed seems nice so far but if there is something better i would take it
i still stick to rider for anything c# though, it's hard to beat

i do think Rider is way overkill, i just use Neovim for C# projects and Zed if it's like a Godot game, a basic editor using just the OmniSharp language server is pretty serviceable for anything i've built for myself, but maybe it's because i just haven't done work on anything too big while using it
