i'm not gonna say that arch is or is not beginner friendly because i couldn't really tell you
however
i think more people should be made aware that archinstall is a thing that comes with the arch isos and you don't have to install it manually these days

@pancakes I like archinstall, it's really easy, tells you everything you need to do. the choices aren't explained, but you can just keep defaults for what you don't know and get a reasonable setup.

otherwise there's stuff like endeavour on if you want arch but a TTY install is scary
