@kopper opinionated indents are very nice except when they are tabs or spaces or 8-space tabs (basically this one likes 2 or 4 space only (opinion))

@pancakes i like tabs for indentation when they're combined with spaces for alignment. otherwise yeah 2/4 spaces are generally the norm basically everywhere

@kopper i think hare does 8-space tabs and that makes me sad

@pancakes that's from the linux kernel style guide i believe. the assumption is if your code is indented too far you're doing something wrong, which, only works for some languages
