I feel like nextcloud is too complicated

All I want is to fucking have file storage across devices and a calendar

maybe an office suite but I really don't think I need that

@julia i feel like calendar/contacts should come with email services but yeah i'd just like simple self hosted storage

@pancakes I'm trying to move away from proton and after they broke my trust I don't really feel like I can trust anybody but myself (except for email, email is cursed)

email hosting is fucked
i switched over to migadu because they seem reasonable and have caldav/cardav (i should set it up)
i just wish there was something better than nextcloud so i just sync some things with syncthing and don't do anything else
