@alexia my point is it's an arch derivative which encourages aur use while having outdated packages

@pancakes completely unrelated issue to using an LTS kernel though.

Yes the package mismatch is horrible for the AUR but that is...not an issue with shipping the 6.12 kernel, which people can still use on upstream arch too neocat_thinking

It's moreso an issue when pacman has a major update again or some AUR package updates to require a new version of a package that Manjaro simply doesn't have.
