At first I randomly got iro_miya.88 assigned as a username on Signal and I told someone "Oh shit 8 is lucky in East Asia :D" and then they said "88 is also a Nazi dogwhistle" and I didn't know that

So now it's iro_miya.95 because I was born on September 5

@yassie_j @iro_miya i have a chinese friend who had 88 in their username because 8 is lucky and 88 is even more lucky. i reminded them that it was a dog whistle. they were aware they just hadn't considered it with their username and they've changed it now
