@h they're hoping a company called "gay run" ends up being founded so they'll give up a bunch of money for the domain because capitalism sucks and only cares about companies, not people
@mjdxp no i know it's just funny cause a company called gay run will Not exist, actually! that would be a bad name for a company. this domain could literally only function as a shitpost, it would not work as a serious corporate entity
@mjdxp it's also like actually a tld according to all of the browsers cause its in the public suffix list so it has all the proper cookie isolation and stuff + i can hand out NS records so people can have full dns access if the static site service isn't good enough
the corporatisation of the internet is a problem i've been concerned with since ever so having a "tld" i can operate myself to fight against it even just a little is very important to me !
