gnome opinion
good: adwaita/libadwaita looks really nice, nautilus as file picker, good workflow/workspaces, app ecosystem
bad: no global emoji picker, no clipboard management, VRR and fractional scaling are still experimental, broken shadows and visual artifacts on my desktop only (still haven't found anything on either issue)
other notes:
I know Videos is a video player but it should be able to play audio files like VLC, mpv, and whatever kdes player is
I should be able to select custom directories in Music
System Monitor should show the name of the CPU and GPU, they're visible in System Settings but this would be convenient
I actually really like that Console's header turns red for sudo and purple for ssh
I wish folder icons matched the accent color
