I think it's also missing the settings portal and I could never get secrets portal working either

@thememesniper oh my bad ext-image-capture-source-v1 and ext-image-copy-capture-v1 are protocols not portals but I think wlr portals needs to change things to support them
adding support is an open mr in wlroots

@pancakes i'd love niri but integrated xwayland support is kinda killing it for me. yeah theres the workaround of using xwayland-satellite but bleh

maybe i'll just use swayfx with a dynamic tiling addon or something

@pancakes scrolling tiling is very interesting though (i know theres paperwm but i don't like gnome and paperwm fucks up gnome way too much)

@pancakes sway works good with a bit of tweaking, same with kde, but pop-up windows work best on mixed window managers like kde in my experience
