it's weird how akkoma seemingly makes every hashtag and mention a link, making it generate link previews for them on mastodon and (probably?) misskey and co.
@pancakes I see it ALL THE TIME in profiles, where a hovercard for a mention won't come up because it's a hyperlink
in general there is a lot of disparity on how different software handles common structures like mentions, tags and links which causes interop. to be weird
