@pancakes it really feels like they don’t actually want to learn how to use linux, which will absolutely kill any chance of someone having a good experience with it

@mjdxp i wouldn't doubt a lot of them go into it with the expectation it will go horribly because that will make for a more interesting video

@pancakes also kind of feels like a lot of them want a 100% effort free alternative to windows that'll be super easy to use

@mjdxp and that's never going to happen because linux, x11, wayland, gnome, kde, etc are not drop in replacements for windows. you need to be willing to learn new workflows and new software just like you would switching to mac or when you first learnt windows
