i've cross-referenced this with urls generated by moshidon in the past, and they certainly look different (the ones i'm generating look more like user IDs, for some reason...)

why are mine different, though? what arcane magic are other devs pulling off to get client ids that work (or perhaps rather, how fcked up is iceshrimp's api for it to not accept its own app ids...)
