i wish linux mint wouldn't have packages older than the fuckin ice age because id really rather prefer to recommend it over other stuff when people ask me for a direct ish windows copy

@jeder @pancakes @halva even without that, canonical's upgrade schedule for some packages was always kinda shit. and their fix was first to use 3rd-party PPAs, and then to use snaps, so... eh

it's only gonna get worse in the future btw
