im a fake vim (and adjacent) user because i like modal editing and hjkl instead of arrows but i never learnt anything past the most basic binds and am really hindered by that

i think helix is really cool but lsps frequently break on me, autocomplete frequently breaks and format on save doesnt seem to be respected
i use rider for all of my c# stuff but for everything elae i should be using helix but these things are deterring me
i think this is a doesnt work on my machine thing because helix --health for the langs i use say they are setup correctly
