votv is unplayable without gamescope if you have fractional scaling enabled in gnome
but you can't stream gamescope to anything that uses pipewire

dev- trying to fix this one issue in iceshrimp is making me miserable and it's a harmless edge case anyways and both fixes i've tried have broken shit in different ways so i'm just going to revert them

@stella this is a new feature on discord. it's mostly an improvement i think but this specific issue is a huge oversight which probably comes from discord people mostly using twitter
