out of curiosity i reinstalled plasma and set it to 150% scaling on wayland and this does not seem to be happening
which makes the cause of the bug even more confusing as again it happens on niri and gnome
and i do not want to switch back to plasma

on my pc this bug doesn't happen on x11 but gnome x11 doesn't support fractional scaling which could be one of the triggers for the bug

my laptop is using the same distro, kernel version and drivers (mesa 25.1.5) with R7 7738U (AMD Barcelo) and not having this bug
