i feel too young to get irc
servers and channels i can get but idk the difference between nicknames/usernames/realnames or how auth or accounts work
also ircv3 is cool and all that but most clients seem to be lacking a lot of that and from an outside perspective don't look great

ok this is resolved there was some flatpak overrides set that i have no memory of adding

@GeopJr i just unset my flatpak overrides (i didn't intentionally add any and barely use flatpak) and that fixed it

does anyone know how i can unfuck my gtk apps?
somehow libadwaita apps just look like stock gtk4 (but still wrong even then)
i just wanna change everything gtk back to the defaults (maybe same with qt too)

so discord added a new feature where joining a vc will send a message telling people you're hanging out in your system messages channel (probably general)
however it also does this when someone joins the afk channel (because they are idle)
