i honestly want to try daily driving chimera but i kinda need .net and rider.....
i don't know for certain if it is possible to package .net (i haven't been successful) and i don't know if i want to use a distrobox container for the main project i contribute to (or if rider even works from inside a container)
also i've heard the steam flatpak is iffy but i don't know the specifics

maybe i should go back to helix
gram has some annoying behaviors and its helix mode and vim mode both have some big issues
like it doesn't do vim style registers so d and p work off your system clipboard, not off the default register
i'm not particularly a power user of helix or vim but that's just annoying
