the beatles are ok but i used to have a friend who at one point only listened to them for what feels like several months in a row and it made me not want to listen to most of their stuff
@julia i hope our attitude of not minding if people run dev (with the usual caveats) doesn't affect you because that makes sense for us but not most projects and i'm sure it's very frustrating
longish post about chimera and glibc compatibility woes@q66 i find chimera really appealing and interesting and like how it works on my laptop currently. unfortunately my primary language became c# at some point and it seems that dotnet is unlikely to ever be compatible with chimera due to its dependency on libstdc++. i read your post so i understand why this is the case, it's just a shame i can't really daily drive it on my pc because of that. i should look at how self contained applications function but i'd imagine they have the same dependency issues
